LET’S TALK ABOUT 2024

Specifically, let’s talk about a hive-mind, collaborative effort to have heaps of fun and give some worthy organizations a little love. You in?

Remember when I made some “cruidté” gnomes and auctioned them off and we raised a ton of money for the 15104 Free Store and John Fetterman’s campaign because y’all are crazy generous?

Besties, we are doing it again! Several folks have mentioned the idea of creating a gnome calendar and I had the BEST IDEA!!!! You’ll all vote for which gnome should be the face of each month BUT ALSO… (I love this part so much I can hardly keep it together enough to type this) you get to claim ANY DAY OF THE YEAR (with a few exceptions) and name it whatever you want in honor of whoever or whatever you please! Here’s how it will work:

I’m going to link a list of all the wonderful non profits you suggested. You’ll go to that page, choose one, donate ANY AMOUNT, email me the donation receipt and tell me what day you’d like. I’ll check the spreadsheet, and if your proposed day is open, it’s yours! If that day isn’t available, I’ll let you choose ANY TWO other days. Fair?

My loves, I am wildly excited about this calendar and cannot wait to witness your love and generosity for organizations that have been hit hard since Covid. We’re going to do so much good and have such fun, and come January we’ll have a beautiful, lively, maybe silly, certainly at times emotional, tribute to a year in which we are ALL going to thrive.

I don’t want to babble on and on, so these are just the basics to get you thinking and exited and prepared. Tomorrow I’ll post the list of non profits, along with the days already claimed (Gnomentine’s Day; our gnomeversary; A High Holy Day for the leader of the best darn doggo cult on any planet, Hugh; and Furever Friends Day-in honor of our dear friend, Plumberette’s best pal, Bear.) The Gnome of the Month voting will be weekly starting on Friday, July 7. I’ll have more details about that later in the week.

Ya’ll are the freaking best. I heart you so much.
