Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How much do the gnomes cost?

Nothing! Not a penny! It’s really important to me not to be compensated in any way for my tiny pals… the whole spirit of this project is for me to put something out into the world with no benefit other than the joy it brings to my heart. Does that sound corny? It sounds kinda corny to me. *Felt corny, might delete later, idk*

I never want finances to be a barrier to someone requesting a gnome.

  2. May I request a gnome and keep it for myself?

Of course! The whole mission of the gnomes is to spread kindness and sometimes the greatest need is to be kind to ourselves. Never question or feel guilty about treating yourself with kindness. Please only send a request once if you’re keeping the little buddy for yourself.

  3. Do the gnomes come with any instructions?

Here’s the deal- I really want you to feel free to follow your heart…there are no rules here. Generally, the gnomes are left somewhere in their weather-proof bag with a stack of tags that say kind things. If you would like to add a note or name your gnome or create a whole whimsical backstory for them, that’s awesome! Just follow your heart.

Truly…follow your heart.

I firmly believe that the gnomes will end up wherever they’re meant to be.

The gnomes arrive in a bag with tags like these for you to leave for the finder. They say things like “The world is a better place because you’re here” and “You are seen and loved and valued.”

There may also be some awesome stickers, because…who doesn’t love stickers?

4. I’m on the other side of the globe…may I request a gnome?

Sure thing! I’ll happily send gnomes anywhere!

5. I’d love to blitz my community with kindness- may I request more than one gnome?

Ok, I LOVE that you want to be a kindness ambassador! The request list is super long at the moment and creating the gnomes is pretty time consuming. Because of that, I can’t promise more than one at a time. If you have a special need for multiple gnomes, please add a note at the bottom of your request and I’ll be in touch. I’m hoping to be able to streamline the process and get gnomes out more quickly, and when that happens, I’ll let y’all know!
